Rooftop Units and Planned Retrofits

Most commercial buildings across Metro Vancouver are heated and cooled by packaged rooftop units. When an aging RTU starts short-cycling, running up hydro bills, or dropping parts that are no longer manufactured, a planned replacement is almost always more cost-effective than another emergency repair.

We handle the full scope of that work: crane logistics, curb adapters, gas and electrical connections, condensate routing, and commissioning. On a retrofit we right-size the replacement to the current load rather than matching the old nameplate, which is where a lot of wasted energy hides. Retrofits often extend past the units themselves into make-up air for kitchens and production spaces, chillers and hydronic loops on larger properties, and the controls and building automation that tie it all together.
